A portrait in soft blues and greens: a girl resting her chin on her hand, a daisy tucked in her hair, with the head of a white horse behind her among the leaves. The shading of skin, mane and petals means frequent colour changes, so this design suits stitchers with some experience of counted cross stitch.
The 27 count evenweave is normally worked over two threads, giving about 5.4 stitches per centimetre. Alongside the kit, a hoop or frame and good lighting are useful. The frame shown in the photo is not included: the finished piece can be framed with or without a mount.
