Sotema art. 30L pure linen evenweave, with 19 threads per cm each way (48 count). Made in Italy, it suits classic counted thread stitches, drawn thread work, reticella and Sicilian drawn work, for tablecloths, table centres, towels, sheets, curtains and cushions.
Colour: pure white. Fabric width: 180 cm.

Sotema 30L is one of the finest linens in the Italian mill's range: 19 threads per centimetre in both directions make it easy to count accurately and to withdraw threads cleanly. It is meant for experienced counted thread embroiderers looking for small, refined work – drawn thread borders, reticella and Sicilian drawn work on tablecloths, table centres, towels, sheets, curtains and cushions.

Cross stitch worked over two threads gives about 24 stitches per inch, so choose fine threads such as a single strand of stranded cotton. Leave a generous margin around the design for hems and finishing.
