I bought this book because I really love the butterflies and the particularity of this publication is to offer butterfly patterns to which was added the shade (such as those depicted in the photo on the cover), cosicch the effect that is perceived to see them split and then "detached" from the canvas embroidery, especially if you look from a distance, so do not seem embroidered but resting on the fabric. Also very nice birds in color on colored branches combined (branches that are in shades with the color of the canvas which made the cushion, smart choice because it is so much the little bird that stands out in color while the branch passes in second floor). The shadows of the process is repeated in the flowers of some schemes, which also cast their shadow behind the image of the flower in color. This little booklet, its low price, but the ideas it offers are very original. In fact c 'the explanation (made from three small drawings with measurements in centimeters actual size) to achieve 3 coprivasetti in Aida or linen, which will serve to contain small flowering plants: will simply fold and glue the web as taught by scheme and will become a cube containers, and on one side will show the part previously embroidered cross stitch. The other schemes are used to make pillows and mats. The numbers of colors of yarn are converted into legend for both the brand DMC that for the Anchor brand. Very nice, I recommend it, because butterflies are beautiful to see ... but also fun to embroider for the many colors that contain in the small space of their wings. Cinzia. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] |
