Two black cats enjoy the sunshine in a vividly coloured garden, among waves of meadow, scattered blossoms and a sun that opens out in concentric rays. The painterly scene is worked entirely in cross stitch, with a little back stitch for the finer details such as the hanging flower stems and the curled tails.
Fabric, threads and needle are all supplied, so you can start straight away, and the large-square chart is easy to follow even without much experience. All you need to add is a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. The frame shown is not included: once finished, the embroidery can be framed or made up into a cushion.
