Description

A birth sampler to work in counted cross stitch: a little aviator and her kitten fly through the clouds, and the alphabet supplied with the chart lets you add the baby's name and date of birth. Outlines and fine details are worked in back stitch, using one strand of stranded cotton.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the box, but the frame is not included; a hoop or frame is also worth having, as it keeps the fabric taut and the stitches even. Once finished, the piece can be framed for the nursery wall or made up into a cushion. A lovely gift for a birth or a christening, best started a little in advance.
