Description

A birth sampler to stitch in cross stitch: the puppy, the teddy bear, the kitten and the bunnies sit side by side while a little butterfly flutters past. The chart includes an alphabet and numbers, so you can add the baby's name, date of birth and weight and turn the piece into a personal keepsake.

It is worked on Aida, the easiest fabric for counting stitches, and besides cross stitch you will need a few long stitches and back stitch for the outlines: simple details, explained in the instructions. A hoop or frame is handy while stitching, and the picture frame is not included. A much-appreciated gift for a birth or a christening.
