Description

A grid of animal faces, each in its own coloured square, with a free line at the bottom to fill in with a name using the alphabet supplied on the chart: a classic birth sampler or nursery picture to personalise. It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with back stitch for the outlines and facial details.

The chart is printed on large squares and the palette is small, so it is easy to follow even with little experience. The frame is not included: an embroidery hoop is useful while stitching, and once finished the piece can be framed or mounted with a mount cut to size.
