A small striped bathing hut with gulls overhead and pale sand in the foreground: a seaside design that stitches up in a few evenings. It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, following a chart printed in large squares, and finished with back stitch for the outlines and details; the threads come ready sorted on the organizer, so there is no need to match colours.
You will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors. On 18 count Aida the stitches are fine, so good light helps. The frame shown in the photo is not included: the format suits a small picture frame, perhaps grouped with other designs from the same range.
