Description

A birth sampler worked in counted cross stitch: the teddy bear hugs his bunny while the puppy looks on, and the lower part is left free for a name and a date. The chart includes an alphabet and numbers, so you can plan the lettering before you start stitching that section.

Everything needed to stitch is in the box, threads included; the frame is not supplied and should be chosen separately, along with a hoop and small embroidery scissors if you like to work on taut fabric. Apart from cross stitch there are a few half cross stitches and back stitch outlines, both quick to pick up. A classic gift for a new baby or a christening.
