Description

A birth picture with four woodland animals sitting among the leaves, to personalise with the baby's name and date of birth: the alphabet and numbers come with the chart, so you can set out the lettering before you start stitching. The chart is printed with large squares, easy to follow even if you stitch only now and then.

Besides the cross stitch there are a few long stitches and a back stitch outline, worked with one strand of stranded cotton. A hoop or frame and small scissors are handy while you work; the frame is not included and can be chosen once the piece is finished, ready as a christening gift or for the nursery wall.
