Description

A birth picture to stitch and personalise: the chart includes an alphabet and numbers, so the baby's name, weight and date can be added along the bottom of the boat. The design is mostly solid cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines and a few long stitches for the rigging and small details.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the pack; the frame is not included, and neither are a hoop or scissors, which still make the work more comfortable. The threads come already sorted by colour on the organizer, a real help when there are this many shades. Once finished, the piece is usually framed as a gift for a birth or a christening.
