Description

A birth picture to personalise: the alphabet supplied lets you stitch the baby's name, the date and the birth weight in the spaces left in the design, as shown in the photo. Besides cross stitch you will use long stitch for some of the stems and back stitch for the outlines, both explained in the instructions.

The threads come pre-sorted on a handy organizer, so the colours are easy to find as you work. A hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors are useful too. Once finished, the frame is not included: have the work framed to size and it becomes a keepsake for the nursery wall.
