Birthsampler - Animal Party

A birth sampler to personalise: the alphabet included lets you stitch the baby's name and date, as shown on the model. The design is worked almost entirely in cross stitch, with a few long stitches and back stitch for outlines and facial details, so it suits stitchers with little experience, helped by the large-square chart.

Stitches are counted on plain Aida, with no printed design, and the threads come ready sorted on the organizer. A frame is not included: measure the finished piece before choosing one, or have the embroidery mounted to size. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors will also make the work easier.
