Description

A blue tit among pansies, worked in latch hook: the acrylic yarn comes ready cut to length and is knotted one piece at a time onto the canvas, following the colours painted on it. There is nothing to count, and the result is a thick, soft pile that is lovely to touch.

The work is repetitive and relaxing, suitable for children and for anyone new to needlecraft. The kit makes only the front of the cover: to finish the cushion you will also need backing fabric, a zip or buttons and a pad of the right size. The knotted panel can equally be used as a small rug or hung on the wall.
