Description

The pack holds everything needed to stitch two wild flower bookmarks, one with a pink border and one with a mauve border. They are worked in cross stitch on Aida, with a little back stitch for stems and outlines: short projects, good for getting used to counting stitches or for filling the gap between two larger pieces.

All you need to add is a pair of small scissors and, if you like to keep the fabric taut, a small hoop. Finishing is up to the stitcher: you can fray the edges of the fabric, as in the photo, or back the bookmark with felt or ribbon. A pair of them makes a ready gift for a keen reader.
