Bookmark - Lighthouses (2)

Two bookmarks to stitch, each with its own lighthouse: one rising above a flowering cliff, the other looking out over beach and dunes. They are narrow, short pieces that work up in a few evenings and make a thoughtful small gift for a reader, perhaps tucked into a new book.

The design is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida following the chart, with a few long stitches for the details; the ribbon for the top is already supplied. All the stitching materials are included, so you only need scissors and, if you prefer the fabric held taut, a small hoop or frame.
