Description

Two seaside bookmarks to work in cross stitch, with the outlines finished in back stitch. The narrow, elongated format stitches up quickly, even in short sessions, and the kit already holds everything you need to sew: threads, needle, ribbons for the tassel loop and a chart with instructions.

A small hoop or frame makes stitching more comfortable, and for finishing it is worth adding a piece of card or felt to the back, which hides the reverse and gives the bookmark a little body. The set contains two pieces, so you can keep one and give the other away, perhaps tucked into a book.
