Description

Two bookmarks to stitch in cross stitch, featuring gnome-style unicorns among balloons and hearts: small pieces that come together in a few evenings and make a thoughtful gift for a keen reader. Outlines and a few details are worked in backstitch once the crosses are finished.

All the stitching materials are in the kit, including the threads and the ribbons. You only need a small hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors. Once stitched, neaten the edge and attach the ribbon at the top; gluing a piece of card or felt to the back keeps the bookmark stiff and hides the reverse of the stitching.
