Description

A gentle sepia portrait: a sleeping newborn and a kiss on the forehead. The alphabet included in the chart lets you add a name and a date of birth, as shown on the model, turning the piece into a personalised birth sampler.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida following the large-square chart, with a few long stitches for the finer details; the threads come already sorted on the organiser, so there is no time lost matching colours. A hoop or frame makes stitching easier, and the picture frame is not included — choose one once the work is finished.
