Description

Squares and circles in bright colours, worked in long stitch on a canvas that is already screen-printed. There is no counting involved: you follow the printed design, and the enclosed chart shows whether each stitch runs horizontally or vertically. The thick acrylic yarn covers quickly, so the work grows fast and the technique suits newcomers as well as experienced stitchers.

The kit makes the front panel of the cover only: the pad and the backing fabric are not included and need to be bought separately, along with needle and thread or a sewing machine for making up. Once finished, it becomes a cheerful cushion for a sofa or armchair, or a panel to frame if you prefer it on the wall.
