Cushion: Eva Mouton - Black Cat

Eva Mouton's black cat becomes a shaped cushion in the form of a cat's head, worked entirely in cross stitch following the design already printed on the canvas. There is no counting, and the large holes make the stitching quick, so it also suits children and first-time stitchers.

The thick yarn is used as a single strand and just two colours cover the whole design. The backing fabric is in the pack, so the cushion can be made up straight away: only the padding has to be added, as it is not included. You will need sewing thread and a needle, or a sewing machine, to put it together; the result is a cheerful cushion for the sofa or a child's room.
