Dalmatians

A birth sampler to work in counted cross stitch: the dalmatian puppies float inside a red umbrella while the rain falls, framed by a spotted border. The alphabet supplied with the chart lets you add the baby's name, date of birth and weight, so the picture becomes a personal keepsake.

With 5.4 stitches per cm the Aida has clearly visible squares and the chart is printed in large squares, so the project suits stitchers with little experience of counted work. Besides the kit you will need a hoop or frame, small scissors and, once finished, a frame: the frame is not included.
