Description

A hanging heart embroidered with meadow flowers in shades of lilac and purple and the words 'Happy Summer', on natural beige fabric. The design is already printed on the fabric, so there is no counting: you follow the printed lines with three basic stitches, all explained in the instructions, and the printing washes away when the work is finished.

It is a small project that works up quickly and suits anyone starting out with freestyle embroidery. A small hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors are handy while stitching. In the photo the heart is stuffed and finished with a ribbon: the manufacturer does not state whether filling and ribbon are included. Once made up, it becomes a summer decoration for a door handle, a wardrobe or a branch.
