Description

A wedding or engagement keepsake worked in warm sepia tones: the couple's hands fill the whole picture and leave room at the top for the names and the date, which you spell out using the alphabet supplied with the chart. The pearls add a touch of sparkle to the ring.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with a few long stitches for the details; the large-square chart is easy to follow even if you have not stitched much before. Alongside the kit it helps to have a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors. The frame is not included: once washed and pressed face down, the finished piece makes a framed picture to give to the couple.
