Front Cushion: Botanical Leaves II

A tangle of tropical leaves in many shades of green with touches of turquoise, worked in cross stitch on a canvas that is already printed in colour: you simply follow the colour under the needle, with no counting. The large holes and the thick acrylic yarn make the stitching quick and easy to handle, including when working alongside children.

The kit covers the front of the cover only: the backing fabric and the pad are not included. Once finished, sew on a piece of fabric for the back — a plain heavy cotton is the simplest choice — and slip in a square pad of the same size. The stitched panel can also be mounted as wall decor or made up into a roomy bag.
