Description

Hedgehogs tucked among autumn leaves, with a mushroom for shelter: a warm design in yellows, oranges and browns, worked entirely in full cross stitch on a canvas that is already printed in colour. There is no counting involved, and the large gauge makes the work grow quickly, so it suits stitchers with little experience as well as children working alongside an adult.

The kit makes the front panel of the cover only: to finish the cushion you also need backing fabric, a zip if you want one, and an inner pad. Once the stitching is done, sew the back on by machine or by hand; the panel can also be mounted on a footstool or a bag, or framed as a picture.
