Front Cushion: Norwegian Motif

A cushion front to work entirely in cross stitch, with repeating Scandinavian-style bands in red, burgundy and grey on a white ground. The large-hole canvas and thick yarn make the work grow quickly: you follow the printed design instead of counting stitches, so it suits beginners and children stitching with an adult.

The kit covers the front panel only: to finish the cushion you will also need backing fabric, a zip or buttons and a pad of the right size. The finished piece can also be mounted as a decorative panel. A large hoop or a scroll frame helps to keep the canvas taut while you stitch.
