Frozen Anna

Anna, the heroine of Frozen, is shown here from the waist up with her red braid and pink cape, set inside a diamond-shaped border with Nordic-style motifs. Much of the background is left unstitched, so the work grows quickly and the figure stands out at once.

Besides cross stitch there is some half cross stitch and a few long stitches for the face and the outlines: nothing tricky, though a little experience with counted work helps. The large-square chart makes the design easy to follow. A hoop or frame is useful while stitching, and to hang the finished piece you will need a picture frame, which is not included.
