Description

Latch hook work is done by knotting pre-cut lengths of yarn into the holes of the canvas with the hook. The design is hand-painted onto the canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply follow the printed colours. The result is a dense, soft pile typical of this technique.

It is repetitive, relaxing work, suitable for children too and easy to pick up and put down. The kit makes the cushion front only: to finish it you will also need backing fabric and a cushion pad, both sold separately. The knotted panel can also be used as a small rug or hung as a wall piece.
