A set for making three stitched Christmas cards: the Nativity scenes are worked in just a few shades of red and lifted with silver metallic thread, which catches the light in the background and the outlines. Back stitch is used for the finer details.
The designs are stitched on Aida and then mounted in the die-cut cards, held in place at the back with a little glue or double-sided tape: cards and envelopes are included, so all that is left is the message. With three matching designs it is a quick project even late in the season, and the finished pieces can be framed and reused in later years.
