Greeting Cards: Christmas gnomes

Three Christmas gnomes in red hats, worked in cross stitch on Aida and then mounted in the ready-cut greeting cards: the stitched fabric sits behind the window of the card, so the finished piece looks like a small framed picture. The threads come pre-sorted on an organiser and the chart is printed with large squares, easy to follow in the evening.

A few long stitches are used alongside the cross stitch for the details. The three cards and envelopes are included, so you only need the basics: small scissors and, if you like working with the fabric taut, a little hoop. The frames shown in the photo are not part of the kit.
