A height chart to work in counted cross stitch: cows with a flower in their mouth, a sheep and a horse peep over the band, while bees and little blooms sit beside the height numbers. The large-square chart is easy to follow even with little experience of counted work, and the thread organizer keeps the twenty-seven colours in order.
As well as cross stitch you will use long stitch and back stitch for the outlines, and the alphabet is included so you can add the child's name. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors are handy while stitching. Once finished, the chart can be mounted on two wooden dowels or a length of ribbon and hung in the bedroom to mark how tall the child grows.
