Description

A height chart for a child's room: two penguins playing with balloons run alongside the scale, from 70 to 130 cm. The chart includes an alphabet, so you can add the child's name and date of birth as shown in the photo, and it is printed with large squares that are easy to follow even with little experience.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with a few long stitches for the balloon strings and back stitch for the outlines. A hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut is useful too. Once stitched, the chart needs hemming before hanging: the wooden rods shown in the photo are not part of the kit.
