Description

A birth sampler with young savannah animals gathered under a flowering branch. The alphabet supplied with the chart lets you stitch the baby's name and date in place of the ones shown in the photo. The design is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with back stitch outlines and a few long stitches for the details.

The threads come ready-sorted on a yarn organizer, so all 27 shades stay in order from start to finish. Hoop and frame are not included: a hoop or scroll frame makes stitching easier, and the finished piece can be framed or made up into a small cushion for the nursery.
