Description

A pink heart reading 'Smile! Life is beautiful', surrounded by flowers, worked in counted cross stitch from a large-square chart that is easy on the eyes. Alongside the crosses there are a few lines of back stitch for the outlines and a handful of french knots for the flower centres: two simple stitches, explained in the instructions.

The wooden hoop is included and doubles as the frame: once the stitching is done, tension the fabric, trim the edge and secure it at the back. All you need to add is a small pair of scissors. It makes a cheerful decoration for a child's room, a kitchen or a hallway, and a nice gift too.
