A lighthouse rising above a little house with a red roof, with seagulls wheeling around it and coral in the foreground: a seaside design in clear, bright colours, well suited to anyone looking for a small piece that still has some detail to enjoy, such as the shaded water and the fine branches of the coral.
It is worked in counted cross stitch from the chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton on the Aida. A hoop or frame and a pair of embroidery scissors make the stitching easier. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed, mounted on board or made into a small picture for a bathroom or a seaside home.
