Description

A warm, softly shaded portrait of a couple: the wedding kiss and the close-up of their hands with the rings. The alphabet included in the chart lets you stitch the wedding date and the names below the design, turning the piece into a personalised keepsake or an anniversary gift.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, with a few long stitches for the finer details, and the large-square chart is easy to follow even with limited experience. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors, and the picture frame is not included: once finished, the embroidery looks its best mounted with a pale mount board.
