Maya & Willy at Night Rug

A rug featuring Maya the Bee and her friend Willy drifting along on two leaves on a starry night. It is worked in latch hook: using the hook supplied, you knot the pre-cut acrylic yarn tufts one by one into the holes of the canvas, following the colours already painted on it. There is no counting and no chart to read, so older children can join in too.

Everything you need is in the kit, hook included: when the pile is finished, the edge is simply neatened with the binding tape provided. The result is a soft, dense rug for a child's room, and it works just as well hung on the wall.
