Minni Shushing

A birth sampler with Minnie asking for quiet, surrounded by flowers, leaves and a little bird. The chart includes an alphabet and numbers, so the baby's name and date of birth can be stitched underneath the design, as shown in the photo.

Counted cross stitch is worked square by square from the chart: the holes in Aida are easy to see and each stitch fills one square, so the project stays manageable even with limited experience. You will also need a size 24 tapestry needle and, if you prefer, a hoop or frame. The frame shown is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed for a nursery or given to new parents.
