Description

A nutcracker in full dress uniform, surrounded by presents, a decorated tree and baubles hanging from a garland: a Christmas design worked in counted cross stitch, with outlines and facial details finished in back stitch. The coloured background is left unstitched and sets off the figure, so only the motif is covered.

The threads come ready sorted on an organizer, so no time is lost matching shades. The large-square chart is easy to follow even without much experience. A hoop or frame is useful while stitching, and a picture frame is not included: the finished panel can be framed or made up into a Christmas cushion.
