Description

A pale, lightly sketched owl wearing a crown of bright flowers that carries all the colour in the design. The motif is already printed on the fabric, so there is no counting: you follow the printed lines, using satin stitch for the petals, long stitch for the feathers and stem stitch for the outlines.

The printing washes out once the work is finished, so the lines can be covered at your own pace. To stitch comfortably it helps to keep the fabric taut in a hoop or frame, which is not part of the kit, just like the hoop shown in the photo. The finished embroidery can be framed, mounted in a display hoop or made up into a cushion.
