Paper Ornaments: Tree Trimming 2

A Christmas make for young children: the shapes are already printed in colour on the card and the holes are ready punched, so all there is to do is take the plastic needle through the dots with the yarn. Running stitch, a simple in-and-out movement, is the first stitch anyone learns and each ornament is finished quickly.

The thick acrylic yarn and the needle are both included; only a pair of scissors is needed to cut the shapes out along the outlines. Once finished, the hearts, stars, reindeer bauble and little bird house can be hung on the tree with thread or ribbon, or used as place markers and gift-parcel decorations.
