Description

A nursery scene: Popcorn the bear in his striped top greets the puppy and the chick, while a little mouse looks on from the corner. The alphabet supplied with the instructions lets you stitch a child's name below the picture, turning the piece into a personalised gift for a birth or a christening.

The design is worked on Aida following a large-square chart that is easy to read; besides cross stitch there are half cross stitches, back stitch and French knots for the faces and the butterflies. A hoop or frame makes the stitching more comfortable, and the frame shown is not included: once finished, the embroidery can be framed or made up into a cushion.
