A white Aida bag to work in counted cross stitch with a butterfly in yellow and orange, surrounded by a few tiny flowers, and closed with a yellow drawstring. The 18 count Aida has a fine weave, so the design comes out small and crisp: it is usually stitched with one strand of stranded cotton and a round-pointed needle, ideally with a small hoop and good light.
Once finished, fill the bag with potpourri, dried lavender or a scented soap and hang it in the wardrobe or tuck it into a drawer; it also makes a pretty little gift pouch. A small-scale project, easy to carry around and quick to complete. Please check on this page which materials are supplied with the kit.
