Three ready-made little bags with a front panel in Aida waiting to be stitched: just follow the chart, count the stitches and close each bag with the cord provided. Each bag carries a different bunch of spring flowers — tulips, daffodils and irises — on a pale background.
The stitching is usually worked with two strands of stranded cotton for the crosses and one for the backstitch outlines; a small hoop helps keep the panel taut, but it is not part of the kit. Once finished, fill the bags with potpourri, lavender or dried herbs and hang them in the wardrobe or tuck them into a drawer; they also make a simple handmade gift.
