Description

Three ready-made little bags to stitch with a posy of pansies, grasses and butterflies: each bag has its own design, in shades of lilac, blue and pink. Back stitch is used for the finer outlines, such as the antennae and stems.

The white fabric has a fine weave, so one strand of stranded cotton is enough; a small hoop helps keep the stitching even. The potpourri itself is not included: once stitched, fill the bags with lavender, dried flowers or scented salts and close them with the cord provided. Lovely hung in a wardrobe or given as a small gift or favour.
