A shaped rug featuring one of Santoro's Gorjuss girls, worked by knotting acrylic yarn onto a hand-painted canvas. Latch hooking is simple and repetitive: using the hook, you knot one tuft of yarn into each hole, following the colours already painted on the canvas, with no counting involved.
Everything you need is in the kit, including the yarn and the hook. It is easy work to pick up in front of the television and suits beginners, including older children with a little patience. When the pile is finished, the edges are neatened with the binding tape supplied, and the rug can go on a bedroom floor, hang on the wall or serve as a play mat.
