An autumn scene running along the centre of the table runner: a fox curled up, a hedgehog among the mushrooms and leaves drifting down one after another. The design is printed straight onto the fabric, so you follow the colours instead of counting threads; the chart that comes with the kit is there for the details, such as the back-stitched outlines and the French knots.
The runner is already hemmed and ready to use: once the stitching is done, a wash removes the printed lines and a press from the back finishes it off. An embroidery hoop and a small pair of scissors make the work easier, though neither is included. A relaxed project even with little experience, ready for the table through the cooler months.
