Description

A ready-hemmed table runner that comes printed and made up: the design is printed straight onto the fabric, so there is no counting involved and you simply follow the colours. The two wreaths of maple leaves and red berries sit at either end, leaving the middle of the table clear. The printing washes out once the embroidery is finished.

Alongside cross stitch you will use a few decorative stitches: french knots for the berries, stem stitch for the tendrils and satin stitch for details, all explained in the instructions. Threads and needle are included; a hoop or frame is handy to keep the fabric taut. When finished, wash the runner and press it from the back.
