Description

A ready-made, pre-hemmed table runner in grey linen blend, with the wreath design printed straight onto the fabric: you simply follow the printed lines, with no counting involved. The three stitches used — satin stitch, stem stitch and back stitch — are among the easiest in hand embroidery and are quickly picked up.

The printed design washes out, so once the stitching is done a simple wash leaves only the embroidery on show. A hoop and a small pair of embroidery scissors make the work more comfortable. The finished runner dresses a table or a sideboard through the festive season.
